Free To Live was founded in 1988 and was formerly known as Open Door Ministries. The book, published in 1985, along with the whole ministry is founded on Liesl's own life story.

Free To Live Ministries is a Faith Ministry, we feel that God has called us to be that. There are many churches which are afraid to enter into having our meeting, because of the potential financial responsibilities involved, especially the smaller churches or groups. Therefore we do not want their concern about finances to enter into the decision about whether to invite Liesl to share her testimony and pray with people or not.

Free To Live Ministries cover travel and accomodation for Liesl. If people want to sow a love offering into Free To Live Ministries, that is welcomed, if not that is acceptable too. Our only request of the local church is to support the meeting through prayer, commitment to attend and to make all efforts to bring others along. Free To Live Ministries want to Bless you with the power and love of God, So we would encourage you to pray and God will do the rest.

Statement Of Belief

We believe:

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
• All men are sinners separated from God, cannot save themselves, and deserve eternal punishment.
• Jesus Christ, God's Son and true God, having also become true man, lived, suffered and died for the sins of all people, that we need not remain separated from God.
• Whoever repents of his sins and accepts by faith, Jesus Christ as his Savior has forgiveness of his sins and has eternal life with God.
• Therefore, each person is saved from eternal separation from God only by the grace of God Himself, through faith in Jesus Christ.
• In response to his loving gift of God, Christians will strive to live holy lives as the fruit of their faith, and together with their fellow Christians in the Church, will serve God and do His work.
